Market not booming but improving

Tuesday, November 23, 2010

Wealthy and international buyers are coming out of the woodwork looking to get their hands on a well priced luxury home. Upscale homes are being purchased more readily, but it should not be misconstrued as a return of a real estate boom. As a luxury home builder, I have seen a much needed improvement in new home sales. So far this year, we have sold four luxury estates in Landmark Ranch Estates with prices over three million.

With the economy set to move up, there is no better time to purchase a new custom home. The stock markets are rising daily, interest rates are low and luxury real estate is quickly disappearing.

Parkland Golf Welcomes New Ownership

Sunday, November 21, 2010

There is much excitement at Parkland Golf and Country Club as we welcome the new change in ownership. At Landmark Ranch Estates, we feel that this is a big step forward for the community.

The uncertainty that once existed in the community is gone, and the future is bright. Parkland Golf, now backed by a financially strong builder, will once more be the premier golf community it was always destined to be.

The future will deliver a luxurious country club, the way we always believed it to be. We always saw the true potential and value that a community like Parkland Golf held for South Florida, and that is why we invested in it from the very beginning. Now the future is secure, as it is owned by America's leading luxury home builder.

The new owners know exactly how a first-class country club should be run, and they are already taking steps in the right direction. This news is great for both current residents and new residents who will enjoy premier upscale amenities throughout the club.

At the present time, Landmark Custom Homes has the only NEW custom home for sale in all of Parkland Country Club, and we don't expect it to be on the market long. The interest in the community has already increased, and this is the time for a savvy home buyer to take advantage.

News travels fast and Parkland Golf is the community everyone will want to call home.

Bright Look Ahead

Wednesday, February 3, 2010

It is good to read that in the next several years there could be vacant lot shortages versus overages. I was pleased to read that according to Bradley Hunter, director of South Florida’s Metrostudy, we should be prepared for land shortages as builders scramble to obtain lots on which to build on.

The outlook for the future appears to be a lot brighter than it once appeared to be. It seems that housing start percentages will increase as the market comes off the bottom.

We love to know that things are starting to stabilize and that we should see movement toward positive change in the near future.

The article is worth a reading: Metrostudy: S. Fla. housing starts on the rise.

Improvements in Luxury Housing Market

Toll reports positive results in fourth quarter | The Real Deal | New York Real Estate News

Posted using ShareThis

Great artice.

As a luxury home-builder I can attest to the growth in interest in the luxury home building market. We have also noticed that homebuyers have shifted their demands to new homes versus lived in homes.

Despite the rough year builders have experienced, this year, there is a light at the end of the tunnel; things in the housing market are improving. We are headed for better times the outlook is positive. We can’t ignore that we will face some months in which it appears that things are not getting better, but it is only normal; we need to keep our attitudes positive and keep moving forward.

Though the traffic may appear to be less it has become a matter of quantity versus quality. Like Toll Brothers we have noticed that those that come to look have already done online research before hand and are much more serious buyers. People are using a lot more caution than they were so things are also moving at a slower pace.

Another thing is the extension of the 8,000 new homebuyer tax credit until April. This will continue to encourage people to buy now. This really is the best time for homebuyers to take advantage of the power of negotiation and the tax credit.
