A Look At The Parkland Golf & Country Club

Monday, May 24, 2010

The streets rumble with the sounds of perfectly tuned engines as a parade of exotic sports cars make their way to the club house at Parkland Golf & Country Club for the Exotic Car Rally for Underprivileged Children. This is just one of the events that takes place in PGCC that lets you know this isn't your every day country club community.

Community
The affluent family community is a tough one to find. Where can you go where the kids can find a play date just as easily as you can find a tee time? We take an in-depth look at Parkland Golf & Country Club to show you why we love it and why it was such a great setting for us to build the Villa Positano.

Golf
No one can deny the depth and challenge of golf. Once you have it figured out it takes you deeper. We love golf and PGCC has one of the finest, and most competitive courses we've seen. the course was designed by Greg Norman. It's a par 72 18 hole course with an additional 19th hole called the "Champions hole". The course is for members only which means you should have no trouble getting onto the course.

Sports and Social Club
The club itself offers activities for all ages throughout the day. Play tennis, take a fitness class, or visit the spa. It was this community environment combined with the level of luxury that's provided that really makes this a great place to surround the Villa Positano.

Location
Location is the most important aspect in buying any home. One of the greatest benefits to living in PGCC is your location. Located off university drive just north of the Sawgrass Expressway. This is a great location because you are minutes away from everything but far enough away you would never know it.

Parkland Golf & Country Club is located at 9425 Old Club Road Parkland, FL 33076. There is an open house every Wednesday and Sunday from Noon to 4pm.
