When controlled fire is a beautiful thing with much to offer. It provides warmth, relaxation, and energy. Many believe a fire pit has healing properties, that the energy is good for your mind body and soul. There is no denying a fire pit is full of energy and power and our history as humans proves we all love sitting around a bright glowing fire.

Water is equally relaxing in its own way and the custom design of the Villa Positano for example blends fire and water together in an interesting way. The fire pit at the Villa Positano was built next to the pool in a lowered area. Imagine swimming in the pool with your friends. You get out of the water and sit by the fire pit. If it gets too hot you dip back in the pool to cool off getting that mix of hot and cold that appeals to so many of us.
Fire pits aren't for everyone though. Maybe you don't buy into the healing or even the relaxation of the fire pit, but where there is a fire pit there is one thing we can all agree on...S'mores.
