Open House at Parkland Golf a Success

Wednesday, February 23, 2011

We are pleased to report; we had an overwhelming turnout at our Real Estate Open House Events this past week. Both open house events were held for the Villa Positano Custom Home at Parkland Golf and both were truly a success, with an unprecedented amount of traffic all three days.

This is no coincidence; Marketwatch 2011 predicts that the Florida real estate market is looking up! The housing market is experiencing a turning point, and it is almost certain that the worst is behind us. Sales are going up, way up in comparison to previous years and inventory is down.

As custom builders, we have seen an upswing in traffic and a much heightened level of interest in home building, so much that we are certain this will be a continuing trend.

With demand continuing to go up and the supply dropping quickly, homebuyers looking for available inventory will need to act fast.

Who is Rick Bell?

Friday, February 11, 2011

I am the owner of Landmark Ranch Estates and I have spent over 20 years perfecting the craft of custom home building. As a graduate of the School of Building Construction at the University of Florida, I am a Florida Certified Building Contractor and a second-generation homebuilder, having spent many years working alongside my father, Gerald Bell, a well-respected South Florida homebuilder.

As the leader of Landmark Custom Homes, I have built in many of South Florida’s finest communities, including Windmill Ranch Estates, Weston Hills Country Club, Parkland Golf and Country Club, Long Cove and The Falls at Heron Bay Country Club in Parkland, and Equus in Boynton Beach.

My most recent projects include multi-million dollar ranch estates in Sunshine Ranches and Landmark Ranch Estates in the town of Southwest Ranches, Florida.

What is happening in the Luxury Market?

Tuesday, November 9, 2010

In the recent research performed by the American Affluence Center, there were contradictions across the board, but those regarding the housing market were positive. The Fall 2010 report showed declining interest in many luxury markets with the exception of the primary residence.

According to the study, interest in acquiring a primary residence increased to a level unseen since the Fall of 2007. The study represents 11.4 million households with an average primary residence of $1.1 million and an average net worth of $3.1 million. Based on the study potential purchases can be projected to be 353,000 for vacation homes and 673,000 for primary residences.

It is believed that the increase in these numbers is a direct result of plans to build, by those who were a part of the survey. We hope to see a greater transition by the luxury market for custom home building versus the purchase of already built homes which may not be readily available.
