April Snow

 Wishing this was a "welcome springtime" post...

but instead April brought snow to Boston.

 Every morning Dillon needs to go for his walk. 

He doesn't like cold or wet conditions.

Neither do I. 

 The yard is covered in a wet snowy blanket.

 There are tulips trying to come up near the tree bench.

 Hopefully this will be the last snow until next Christmas....

 I am really ready to get some pots of pansies,

 the first flowers I buy at the nursery each spring.

The green of the tulip leaves are barely visible.

 Dillon has had enough and is ready to go back inside.

 I am happy I resisted putting up my spring time wreath 

and bunches of forsythia in the urns.

 It would look all wrong today.

 All of my watering cans were gathered here 

with the promise of spring and summer,

 yet here they sit frozen under snow.

Mom, let me in in!

 Little Tobey gets to run free when we take our morning walk. 

He wanders off and eventually comes back.

Being a shih tzu, he loves the snow, 

but Dillon and me~ we have had enough.

Paddles & Paws

Hitting up Tybee Island, Georgia has been on my to-do list ever since I learned of the one and only Jane Coslick. There's just something about every one of her designs....so colorful and friendly, where you can kick-back and relax the day away. I just get the sense the whole island is like that. This cottage is Jane's most recent undertaking, she shared a peek on her blog. Isn't it delightful?! Luckily for us, it will be available to rent by late spring through Mermaid Cottages. Sign me up!! And stop the presses: Did you guys know Jane has an online shop?! Be still my heart!!

We're now officially down to two weeks!! Some of my Facebook fans got a little peek yesterday into my DIY wedding decorations. I might just keep adding fun stuff on there, so follow along if you're interested!

When scanning a web site that one can use the College Blue Book which helps in research to determine the best design programs.

If one possibility could even visit the campus special interior design school, to get a broad idea about the programs they will offer to their students.
Some of the best design schools have many students applying for various courses, and after the schools achieve the necessary accreditation, they are given the freedom to increase the number of students as well. With the number of students increased in number of designs are not alternatives, but to be more selective as far as entrance requirements are concerned and once this happens design schools gradually began to rise in the highest rank which will boast the nation's life.
